Hello Folks,

Starting a new thread for sharing Mexico PCC timelines especially for post COVID-19 situation invitations. Has anybody successfully received the PCC this year.

I think the situation would be tougher for Inland applicants and since the government bodies are not fully open there might be some delays.

My intent for creating this thread is to have a place to share timelines, strategies & experience with obtaining the Mexico PCC.

Please join.

Hi there!

Good to see someone in the same boat as us

Here is our timeline:
Application sent: 11 Oct 2019
Acknowledgement of Receipt: 14 Nov 2019
Medicals Requested: 24 Feb 2020
Medicals Passed: 31 Mar 2020
Police Certificate Requested: 29 April 2020
Confirmation of Received fingerprints/photos for PCC at Canadian HC in CDMX: 14 May 2020
Sponsor Approval: 28 August 2020
Approval in Principle: 28 August 2020 (But says "no decision will be made while we are still processing")

So basically we are almost done, but because the PCC has still not been received by IRCC,they cant proceed any further

Hello,

I think most of us waiting for Police Certificate form Mexico are in the same situation. Our timeline is:

App Received: Oct 22, 2019
AOR: Dec 11, 2019
Medical Requested: Feb 29, 2020
Medical Exam: Mar 3, 2020
Medical Passed: Medical results have been received (?)
PCC Requested: July 22, 2020
AIP: Sep 8, 2020
SA: Sep 8, 2020

We sent the papers to the Embassy in Mexico on July 23 but they got stuck in Customs (in Mexico) so they didn't arrive until Sept 17. We got an email reply form the Embassy (we emailed them asking to confirm they received the documents) on Oct 26, saying they have the papers but they have not sent them to the Fiscalia yet. And the wait continues...

Also, there is another thread with a a very detailed guide (post #262 in this thread) on an alternative way of getting the PCC, in case anyone wants to try that out.
