In the PPR Email it says that in very specific words. So I'm not talking nonsense, Learn to read before you start talking trash. And courier means anything that's not canada post. If you reply with a smart answer again, I'll scan the email from CIC to shut you up.

Why don't you share what the specific words are... Enlighten us please

To anyone confused, cic says in the PPR email to have a return express post envelope if you want it sent back to you with a tracker.
Now, couriers are distinguished from ordinary mail by trackers, signatures, speed, security, etc. obviously xpress post is a form of courier mail, and it's the only courier form cic will use to send back your passport.
Cic gives 2 addresses, a courier address and a Canada post regular mail address. If you're confused, you can ask seniors on here or call CIC.

I think the clarification between Canada post and Courier is very clear. If you can't see it right click view image or click this link: http://i.imgur.com/w0sBtZ4.png

Oh and I forgot to mention, my lawyers office (Campbell Cohen, the one that owns this website and is the largest immigration firm in Canada) advised me that Xpresspost goes to the Canadapost address. So I think I'm not talking nonsense.

Obviously you're not very smart, you didn't read what I or Goku just wrote or maybe your grasp of the English language is weak at best. Let me write it in caps, EVEN THOUGH EXPRESS POST IS RUN BY CANADA POST, IT IS ALSO A FORM OF COURIER MAIL!! Can't be that hard to understand now is it? If you send any courier mail to a po box, you will get no receipt signature, but it will still be accepted.

To the rest of you guys who are looking for the right info, hope you make an informed one

If you want to be able to track your package, have someone sign a confirmation that they received it, you can send it thru Xpresspost using the courier address. Canadapost will give you a tracking number that you may check thru their website. When the package is delivered, you will find a scan of the signature there as well.

If you only want to track your package and do not require someone to sign it when received, you may send thru Xpresspost using the PO Box address. Again, you will be given a tracking number.

If you don't want to track your package and do not require signature, send it thru regular mail and use the PO Box address.

If this is not clear enough, let us know ;)

If you're using Regular Canada Post, use:

Citizenship & Immigration Canada
Canadian Experience Class
Centralized Intake Office
P.O. Box 4000
Sydney, NS
B1P 1J3
Canada

If you're using a Courier service:

Citizenship & Immigration Canada
Canadian Experience Class
Centralized Intake Office
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 5Z2
Canada

If you're using XpressPost, you can mail it to either address.

Oh just wanted to update you here. I got my passport back and landed. CIC put labels on my Xpresspost back to me, clearly marked with the PO BOX address and not the Courier address. So CIC counts Xpresspost as normal Canadapost and not courier just like I said. And attacking me saying I have no command of the English language is weak. You have no clue who I am and of my education level. Good luck to you in your future and I hope you start being more open to not being correct 100% of the time.
