You have to send to courier address.
if your residing country is Canada then you have to type your name with address in a self adhesive tape and send it along with your application.

should i write in a word document or else should i write on a small label that can be used to stick to xpress post.

Send it to the courier address -

Express post would be considered "courier" because it has tracking and it's quicker and more expensive

Not to add to the confusion for you, but I mailed it to the "Canada Post" address and they confirmed having receiving my passport a day after online tracking said that it had been successfully delivered.

Wrong. Xpresspost is not courier. Courier means other companies like Fedex, UPS, DHL etc. Xpresspost is still Canadapost and delivered the same way. It needs to be sent the normal address.

That's because you did it correctly.

there is two addresses inside passport request. one said Canada post, the other said Courier.
If you're inside Canada then send it with Canada post address (the one with PO Box)
if you're not in Canada but in USA, then use Courier.

I am confused.People who alredy sent their application and received AOR please clarify my doubt.
Thanks

Wrong. Courier means an external company to the national post, which is Canadapost. Xpresspost is Canada post and such be treated as such.
