Hi all,

I was wondering if I can use my stocks for proof of funds or not. I have asked friends but they all are confusing me. Will appreciate any kind of help in this. Thank you in advance.

Dear.

There is a stage where u can show stocks as proof of fund i.e. with initial application only. Once you are nearing visa process..lets say PPR, and you are again required to show proof of funds, stocks will not be accepted as the intention of VO is to see whether u have required money (in liquid form) in hand and understand your readiness for immigration.

Go through the information on below link to understand what is accepted at the time of landing which means u should be ready with similar at the time of getting visa;

hi everyone!!!

i would like to ask if anyone from this forum
had submitted stock certificates from publicly listed
companies as proof of funds to their visa application.

does the cic accept this certificates?

however,if in the middle of my application
i decided to sell these stocks due to its decreasing value
and invested in better companies,can this be a problem if
my stock certificate submitted with my visa application
is different from my current stock portfolio?

i hope you can help me with this matter.

thank you very much.
