Generally speaking - no.

Do you have a spouse or common law partner? Do you have children? Are either of your parents still alive? Do you have any family members who are living in Canada?

How old is your brother?

Unfortunately you cannot sponsor your brother since you already have a family in Canada.

Your brother will have to qualify to immigrate on his own through an economic immigration class such as Express Entry.

CIC allows sibling sponsorship (only one sibling) if sponsor is living alone in Canada, has no living parents, single, and no children. Unfortunately for you, you don't meet this requirement.

I have the same question

Hello, I have a question on the same matter.I am a permanent resident in Canada and want to sponsor my adult brother. Both our parents are deceased, I have no children, and my husband is a canadian citizen. Is it possible, as he is my only family and blood relative alive that I could sponsor?

You are not eligible to sponsor a brother. You said you have a husband.

As replied you cannot sponsor your brother. Your husband is your family here.

As I have mentioned before to canadaman, you are not single. You are married thus (not alone in Canada) cannot sponsor your brother.

I am single. My parents are here but sponsored by my sister. My brother is married and having a 9 year old kid. Can I sponsor him or his family?

You cannot sponsor your brother since you are not "alone" in Canada. You have your parents and sister with you.
