Can we get the Visitor Visa stamping done in a different country than the one where the application+biometrics were submitted?

Need some help regarding this: this might be a bit of unique case-

I received my Passport Request Letter on 1/25 for application submitted in Oct using the new IRCC portal. The application was submitted when I was in New York, which is where I gave my biometrics as well.

However, I am currently in Mumbai for a couple of months, and was wondering if I can get the visitor visa stamping done from a VAC in Mumbai?

Hi Kunal - I am in the same situation. Can you please confirm whether you raised a webform or directly sent the passports for stamping to VAC in Mumbai?
