So we are in a bit of a dilemma. We are ready to land in Canada, driving our car we just bought from the dealership last month. The problem is, we haven't received the title yet and we won't until 2 months from now we're guessing. The dealership we bought it from is still waiting for the title from the company they bought it from. So I was wondering if we can cross the border w/our car but not do the export/import of the car until we receive the title. We will put it on our goods to follow list. Does this work? If not we were thinking of renting a car storage unit in Niagra, NY and store it there, have my parents drive from Toronto to NY to pick us up and bring is through the border where my husband will land. Later when we get the title, we will go back to Niagra, NY to get our vehicle and do the export/import process at the border. If anyone knows about this, I truly appreciate it!! Thankyou!!
