Can Spouse immigrate to Canada without Primary Applicant

I wish to know that we are applying for canada immigration. My wife is a primary applicant and I will be the spouse with her. If we got visa and for some reasons she will not be able to move their for some time then can I move to Canada alone? Is this is possible? Your answers will help us to take decision on this matter.

She will have to land before you or at the same time. That means go to Canada, do the landing formalities (less than 30 minutes) and then she can take the next flight back.
