I really hope that all the people skills will also help in the country that we all dream to reach. :)

1: We call the courier and hand them over the application! We pray a little over it and wish to arrive its destination in time and safely!
2: confirmation from your courier services that your folder was delivered (probably 2-5 days depending on the country, days etc)
3: Your Credit Card (CC) is charged or your bank draft is cashed (approximately 10-60 days)
4: First news by email from the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) negative eligibility response (NER) or positive eligibility response (PER) (approximately 45-60 days after the money is cleared)
5: If you get a positive eligibility response, your file will be transferred to your Visa office (VO). You will get news on Client Application Status (ECAS) when they receive your file.

Anyone knows if the above is valid with the new rules after July 2011 too? thanks
