can schools see previous applications to different departments

hey guys im currently doing my undergrad and was thniking about changing my major i had a question about school admissions would be glad if you can help. lets say if i apply to an undergrad program and get accepted but later on change my mind and continue my studies and later on apply to grad school at the same school would they be able to see my previous application?

Schools have centralized IT systems / programs for managing student applications, enrollment, and other details. Student information would be stored centrally. This isn't department by dpartment.
