I have no experience with this. But I do have my 2 cents to add.

Why do you think your wife is not enough to show the family ties? How do you intend to prove that the test reports are of your wife? Also it's just pregnancy report, you ain't going with a paternity test, are you?

If i were you, I'd just mention that I want to come back to my wife, and child (who is on its way) with my doors open to better employment opportunities.
