Can PR holders (not the primary applicant) continue to live and work even if Primary applicant no longer lives in Canada?

We moved to Canada from the USA in Apr-2020. We applied for Canadian PR in June 2021 and I was the primary applicant for the PR for a family of 4 including me. We got our PR in Nov-2021. Now my USA company is asking me to come back. I am trying to find out if I can leave Canada and work in the USA while my wife and kids can still stay in Canada and be allowed to work/study even though I was the primary applicant.
