People...any advice?
I am currently doing my Phd In Canada, I have 7 years professional experience with an international company, and also holder of an American Pilot license.

I would like to apply for a permanent resident card, but don't know how can I do it as I have a mixed profil for a skilled worker & student & Pilot...

If I convert my American pilot license to a Canadian one, does it allow me to apply for a permanent residency? Any advice ?

Thank you

REgards,

You won't qualify for PR based on having a pilot certificate alone. If you had a permanent job offer in Canada and at least one year of experience in that field, then you would likely qualify to apply.

If you have successfully completed at least 2 years of your PhD program then you should also look at the FSW program - Phd stream.
