Asking for a friend:
My friend applied for a visitor visa for one his close friend. However, since the visitor did not have enough bank balance, property etc back home, the visitor visa was rejected. The friend doesn't intend to stay for more than 6 months at a stretch and therefore visitor visa made sense to them.
Since my friend really wants his friend to be here with him, can he now apply for nanny sponsorship for the friend? Would CIC raise an objection as to why he applied for a visitor visa first and then a nanny visa?
My friend's friend is a care taker back home so she should have no problem in qualifying as a nanny.
