Can one delay medicals beyond 45 days

Queries:

1) deadline for medicals is 45 days , from which date do they start counting those 45 days ? from the date ecas changed or the date of issue of medical letter ?

2)Are they very strict about 45 days or are they flexible ?

3)If due to some reason ( like spouse is out of station on a assignment , etc) one is unable to complete medicals in 45 days , then what should one do ?

Where are you from? I'm trying to answer your questions

1) Have you checked your letter well? Generally you need to do your medical in 30 days time from the date of issue of the letter (and not the date you received the letter or the date your ecas changed).

2) Better to follow the time line they have provided. They want the applicant to follow the same, that's why they have mentioned it.

3) In that case please communicate the same to CHC without losing any time and ask for their suggestion. Don't forget to put your case number on the letter/email and on the envelope (in case of letters).

they r very strict about the time. therefore make sure u complete it within the stipulated time and ur time starts from the date of letter.
