I'm an Indian living in Canada. I need a Indian Driver's License Extract, which you can apply for online here: https://services.india.gov.in/service/detail/online-driving-licence-extract
The reason I need it is to shorten the waiting time to take the Canadian driving exam. I have seen forum posts before mentioning that people were successful in getting a family member collect it on their behalf in-person from the Indian RTO office with a authorisation letter, as well as the notarised Indian driving license photocopy.
I was wondering if anybody knows if a non-family member can collect it? Just want to make sure. Thanks.
