Can my partner get a working visa in Canada (Quebec) if I get a research position?

Hi,

I am completely new about Canada immigration but have extensive experience with Australian immigration (managed to get my permanent residency after 9 years in Aus). I have Italian citizenship from birth.

I got offered a job in a university in Quebec, and from my understanding there should be no troubles for me to get a work visa.

My main query is about my partner (Australian\UK double citizenship) - Will she be allowed to come with me, and if so, what is the type of visa she will need (is it a partner/spouse visa, or is it a travel visa, or is it a special visa given that she has Australian\UK citizenship?)

Also, assuming that she will be allowed to come with me, will she be allowed to work while in Quebec, or will she need to obtain a work permit should she receive a job offer?

Also, if we were to get married, will this change anything in terms of visa/work rights?

Any help would be immensely appreciated :)

Thank you !!!

Antonio
