Keep the colored photocopies with you. In case if you get the MR, you should try your luck by requesting the DMP at that time. I appeared in the Meds on expired Passport, I was bit confused earlier, but I learnt later that DMP uses Passport only for recognition of the applicant and may accept the Colored Photocopies?
