Can international students Change their college in canada ??

Hello
I want to know about that can international students change their college after migrate to Canada ??
Actually my little brother got 5 to 6 compartments in his study.. He is studying in conestoga college, kitchener and want to change his college.. the college said that they will not extend their visa and even will send him to his native counrty..my brother is so worried about that ..reply must please that what should he has to do now? ??

He can change the college but he will have to inform CIC about this change.

Maybe just wording but you say migrate to Canada. Being on a study permit by its nature is temporary so the applicant is not migrating to Canada that term only really applies to PRs.

Note that it is unlikely if a course has already been started there would be any fee refund, that would be subject to the individual college policy. Be aware that if your brother plans not to attend college that the college could report non attendance leading to the permit being cancelled so it is important to ensure immigration are kept informed ahead of this happening of a change in course/college.

Ok I understand what you said .. as I said before that he has 5 to 6 compartments in his studies , so is it fine ?? If he would change his college ??

The college cannot stop the visa or send him back. I doubt they even said that.

Actually he had May 2019 intake and reached there on March 12th so I think he is at 3rd or 4th semester..

What does compartment exactly mean?

When a person doesn't get required Marks or pass marks in his exams or in some subjects , called compartment. .
