Can I work on implied status after my Student permit expires? (Waiting for PR)

Hi,

My Student Permit came with a Work Permit that allows me to work 20 hours a week. I have applied for the PR in the meanwhile. My Student permit is about to expire, and it doesnt qualify for a Post Graduate Work Permit so basically I am just waiting for the results of my PR application. Can I continue working for the same employer on my implied status while waiting for the PR?

How have you applied for PR? Through which application stream? Generally speaking the answer to your question is no.
