Can I work for a business in canada with my open worke permit?

Hello,I need help verifying some info,

If you get an open work permit in Canada,that was granted because of your studies, could you work for a company which is :
1.owned by a foreigner (usa national)
2.its fairly new(only 1 year old) $30,000 in sales
3.currently has only online presence,but they need someone to manufacture and design products for them in Canada.

The Business is selling custom made metal products,that are manufactured in the USA, and shipped to Canada.

If they are happy with me,my goal would be to get CEC based PR.

With an open work permit you can do whatever you want in canda and work whatever job
you want.

You can apply under CEC for PR under the NOC codes 0 A or B.
