Can I visit my country while my restoration is processing?

I got refusal letter for my PGWP because of delay of submmitting additional document.
I applied for restoration, and want to visit my home country while I am waiting for processing.
Should I stay in Canada until they make a final decision?

You need to remain in Canada. Restoration applications only stay valid if you remain in the country.

Can I return to Canada when my application is approved?
I can still visit come a visitor or I can send my workpermit by mail to my country.
