Hi everyone,
I have a little unique question. I am a medical resident/fellow in a hospital and trying to get PR. My CRS score is 454, which I feel is borderline for Canadian Experience Class PR.
Residency/fellowship is considered as a job in Canada and we get the certificate at the end of fellowship. I have a total 2 years of experience here in Canada as a fellow and I am in 3rd year. Can use my experience as a Job as well as education for the same year? Thanks in advance for any valuable opinion.

Are those experienced gained under study permit or work/pgwp.

I am pretty sure a fellowship would only work as work experience, not as education.

For Education, you would have had to be under a study permit, and cannot claim the same period for 2 different things, its either-or.

Short answer is no. This will count as work experience only.

You're not on a study permit so what you are doing counts as work and not studies. The certificate you'll be receiving will be a certificate of completion - not something you can claim education points for under Express Entry.
