Hi All,

Thanks in advance for your help.

This query is on behalf of my wife who will be completing her 1 year of Canadian experience on June, 2025 making her eligible for CEC.

Will she then be able to use her Indian experience where she worked for one company for 7 months and another company for 9 months. We are hoping to get additional points for the international experience to boost our CRS score.

PS: There is no gap between the 2 jobs back home. Please advise.

Is it okay that she has no solid 1 year experience with 1 company? Please advise. Thank you

That shouldn't be a problem. She can claim points for foreign work experience under CEC. She needs to be able to prove that she worked at these companies.

Thanks for clarifying. Yes, we are able to provide documents including experience letters & paystubs.

It's great to hear that your wife is approaching eligibility for CEC. The international experience shouldn't be a problem if you can prove that.

Thanks for your response!!

I understand that there will be no problem but will I get a boosted CRS score given the 2 different experience (7 month + 9 month back home)?

I am putting 1 year foreign experience using the CRS calculator.

Yes! 1 year of foreign work experience will definitely add a couple of more points and boost your score.

Should not be an issue. Just make sure to include tax return and paystubs for the duration of work
