Can I travel to US where I ever stayed while my PR application is processing?

Hello everyone,

Is there any of you who has experienced to travel to the country you every stayed while your PR application is processing? I stayed in US for 5 years and my PR application includes the Police Check Certification from FBI. Now I need to travel to US for some urgent issues. Will it affect my PR application process? Could you please advise?

as long as you can come back to Canada with valid visa
