Hello everyone, I have a quite a complex situation in Canada. I have claimed asylum in Toronto with my common law although we have now separated and I moved to another province. I am a bit lost in the situation as how am I going to separate my claim from my common law and then transfer it to another province.
Another fact that makes the situation even more complex is that in the province I moved, I have met someone who is also a refugee that is awaiting his Permanent Residence. As the relationship goes, we are wondering how could we figure this out and separate the claim and have myself added to his Permanent Residence in case we get married.
Would we still need to go through the transfer of the claim to the province I moved in and send my BOC again? Can he still add me in his PR file ? Would I still need to have a hearing and the refugee hearing process in this case ?
Please do not take my actions as trying to get away with the claim or hearing but this is what happened and we are looking to know what would be the best action to take here. Thanks in advance for any insights.
