Can I take Physical Gold as with CAD for POF requirement!!!

Dear Seniors,
Sorry i might sound silly but can't stop myself to ask you if it is legal and acceptable to take physical gold (some portion) with 90% CAD for POF purpose while first time landing to Canada................ your answer would be highly appreciated.....

Gold (bar, jewelry) not acceptable as proof of funds.

Acceptable POF only consists of Cash, Travelers Cheques and transferable Bank Drafts!

Hi ,try to seal your gold and change it to CAD $it is better way
