Hello,
I am applying Outland through the London Visa Office which estimate takes 10months to process plus 28days to OK the sponsor (11 months total)
I completed the medical on 2nd July, we were originally going to submit our application at the end of Aug (2months after medical).
Due to some problems and money issues we cannot submit our package until the end of September which means it would be the end of August next year that I would be accepted; which is 2 months after my medical expires (basing on it being valid for 12months).

1)
Will they request another medical, or will they extend it - as I have read in some cases they extend the medical for 15months instead of 12months if the application takes longer, but I don't know if that is if there was faults on there part instead of a delayed application on our part.

Please could someone shed some light?
Thank you

Most people get done in London before the 11 months - see the spreadsheet in my signature. 11 months is the time that it takes them to process 80% of the files - but quite a few people get done before that (I went through London, stage 1 was 3 months last year, and 4 months in London).

It's too early to worry about it now. You've done the medicals, and you can not send the application right now - then wait. Send the application when it's ready, and see what happens.... you might be done in 1 month (stage 1 ) + 6 months ( stage 2, in London that happens quite a lot), and not have to worry about it at all - no need to worry about it now.

They might extend the medicals, if it has been done within the last 15 months when the extension is requested AND it's the only thing preventing them from issuing the PR. It's impossible to know now whether they will extend the medicals, or request a new one (partial, or full medical).

Good luck,
Sweden
