can i still sponsor my sister who is 19 years old in the philippines?

Please help me with this... my sister is 19 y/o. our parents already passed away. is there any chance that i can still get her eventhough she is not in school? she is dependent to me.

my wife is here and my aunt. i just wanted to get my sister because she just live with my aunt right now in the philippines.

Unfortunately you can't sponsor her. She is too old and you also have a wife which disqualifies you from sponsoring other relatives.

Your sister will have to qualify to immigrate independently.

@Scylla.. Question? My sister is 21, she graduated from University in March 2012 has almost a year work experiece... Can she apply as a tourist? or just wait for 2 years work experience and apply as a Provincial Nominee here in Manitoba?

She can apply for a tourist visa. No guarantee she will be approved. But she can always try.
