i applied for post graduation work permit , but it was denied, my study permit is expired. my partner obtained the PGWP, can i stay in canada by getting married?
can i get a work permit?
would look suspicious?
me and my partner recently declared common law relationship. we have been living together for almost 3 years now.

thanks

As a common-law partner, of a FN with a valid work permit, you can apply for an open work permit to stay in Canada with him/her.

Except the spouse has an PGWP which is open. For a spouse to get an OWP the partners work permit has to be for work in NOC A,B or O and since a PGWP doesn't specify that the work is skilled, then is unlikely that a work permit will be issued.
