What do you mean by sponsor? She is not considered immediate or extended family so you showing funds to support her studies may not be considered. You not having a job will be a factor if you are a student. How can you support her? You don't have to support her studies and can stop funding her anytime so IRCC may say she is showing lack of funds. She and her family really need to show the funds - first year tuition paid and minimum $10k for living expenses. Are you paying first year tuition up front for her? Is she living with you? If so, she still needs to show living expenses.
