Hi

I have a query, can I send my complete application without PCC. I mean to say I can send PCC at the later stage of the application. Is it possible....

Thanks

I have seen some people doing so, As PCC may be late due to various reasons. You'd better explain this in a seperate letter when you send the app. to CHC.

seniors, your comments pls ?

thanks

Well according to me you should send the PCC with the application.
Coz even if you don't do this with the application then the CHC would ask for PCC which would further delay the process of communicating to you abt the needs.
If you wanna fasten your process then send everything at a single point of time.

check this thread,

It is best to send it together 'cause the officer appointed to your might not give you a second chance to submit. They really are trying to keep to the 120days timeline.

Always better to send what asked. But if due to unavoidable reasons it cannot be arranged then you should send an explanation letter to CHC explaining CHC about the PCC and within how much time you will send it to them. Though it completely depends upon the visa officer and they can reject or return the complete file and ask you to send it once its complete. So kindly send full package otherwise it is risky.

Best of luck

I wondered about the same question for long time and decided against it. The bottom line is do what instruction say and they say All Docs in One Single Package

If at all your deadline is approaching and PCC is not available send app stating your limitation and then it may be considered

Hi Goodguy,

Ya you can proceed with there with a letter stating that you will send it later as it is still under process. Dont miss ur deadline to submit the docs..they willnot extend that. I had sent my PP copys, IELTS and PCC later since i didnt have the PP with me and also i needed to renew my Passport.

All got excepted and they send me medicals in nov 09 and PPR in March 2010.

All the best

if it is accompanied by a letter explaning the situtation, it will be accepted................

hi goodguy - i am sure you are asking this question because you probably feel that you will not be able to make the 120 day timeline if you wait for ur PCC .

In such a case, pls go ahead and explain the missing PCC in your covering letter .

If you have applied for a PCC through the RPO in India , you can even attach a receipt as proof that you have applied for PCC. They will definitely consider the case.

I did the same ; and sent my PCC later when i received it.

All my other docs honoured the 120 timeline and the PCC followed later on.

So far, it has had no adverse effect on my processing timelines, etc. But if you can afford to wait a bit more (before your 120 day timeline) for your PCC to arrive , then that would be ideal!

Hope this helps.

My 120 day deadline is not approaching soon. But my IELTS one year deadline is approaching. THat,s why I wanted to apply to CHC before my IELTS one year deadline expires. I have still not got my PCC. What will be good for me. Please advice.

hey goodguy,
You IELTS date starts from the date when u had applied to CIO.
So if u have time then get ur PCC
It hardly takes 2 working days to get ur PCC if in India.
Go to ur passport office and apply for PCC
You will get it the next day.
Send the PCC along with the application.
Hope this helps.
