Can i request to have my Experience Class Application done in Syd, Australia??

Has any Australian living in Canada(experience class) out there tried to have their application processed in Sydney, Australia? Is it possible?
They tell me on the phone it is but they seem unsure and just tell me to read the website.

If so, has it been processed? any idea o the time it may take?

All CEC applications are processed in CPC-Ottawa regardless of your country of citizenship or residence. Once approved, you have the option to do your visa stamping (if applicable) either at Ottawa or Canadian visa office in your country of residence.
