Can i mail the embassy again?

hi guys,

i have recieved letter from embassy in the month of november saying that my documents were received
on november 2nd and i may contact them if i dont hear from embassy in 3 months from the that date.
3 months will be completed by febraury 2nd 2010 .

I have already mailed them on dec last week and i got a reply from them on jan 5th.
After which i had 3 verification calls.

Now please let me know if it would be appropriate to mail them and let them know about the 3 months time they have mentioned in the previous communication.

Hi,

I suggest frequent enquiries are not good. You have already an answer from them last month. Once you send another enquiry, your file will be pulled back from the officer to give a reply. Please keep in mind that your VO/IO is handling several cases and you are one among them.

1. Sporadic emails on the same topic should be avoided.
2. Under spitfire* circumstances, the 'thumb-rule' should be: 'One email - every One month'.

*Can be reduced to once in every 3 weeks, but no lesser.

The first mail which i send was on dec 28 and the second one is feb 1st 2010 .So will this effect my case?
Actually the reason for sending another mail was the letter that i have got from embassy on november 2nd has mentioned that "if you do not hear from embassy in 3 months contact visa office directly".
3 months will be completed by feb 2nd 2010 .

Will this effect my case? I have malied after one month that too just put a kind mail.

Sending any no. of emails technically 'do not' affect our case at all. So, feel free to send as many as u deem fit. However, ref. my previous post on the subject, 'avoidance' of repeat mail on same query serves u better, subjectively.

But, not to worry at all.

Big thanks qorax you really are helping us a lot ;D. Last time i mailed them it took 5 working days to reply for them can i expect the same this time also?

Last time i mailed was to update my telephone number and to know the status of the application.

This time the mail was to inform them about the 3 months duration they have given in the letter.

i have the following questions

1. Yep... this is your Med+PPR... have a ball !
2. After your med results & Pps reach CHC, anything between 1-3 months to get the Visas.
3. Yes, send the Pps the day your meds r done [results will go by itself].

Good news got a email reply from embassy as follows.

If you are india
Steps:

1.Arrange an appointment with DMP

2.Get yourself Medically Examined by DMP.

3.Photocopy the DMP Recipts, Visiting Card.

4 Wait for 3/4 days, so that DMP can forward your report to VO/IO

5. Make RPRF DD, Ensure it should be of exact amount neither less nor more than stipulated amount

6. Write a covering Letter mentioning your file no, name, address, passport details( Validity, Expiry), RPRF DD Details (DD no, Amount, Where payble, drawn on etc etc...), NAme of Doctor where u had undergone Medicals.


7. Arrange all your PAssports,( expired, Renewed, cancelled if any)

8 arrange a good quality envelope

9. arrange Documents under covering letter]

10 take the envelope unsealed to nearest reputed courier agency (Dont bother about money, ensure u send your papers through renowned couriers like Blue Dart, Overnite Express,,, Big Big No for Speed Posts or Registered Post)

11. Pay the fees, the courier co represenative will check the contents & seal them.


12. most important write correct address on envelope.

13. go to temple & pray that your visa arrive asap.

14 relax, after 45-60 days (maximum) u will get visa........ (but i got in 1 month, delay due to Xmas holidays)
