Can I leave Canada while my visa is in progress - I have a valid PGWP

Dear members,

If anyone could kindly answer my question as I need help to make my travel decision.

I have a valid PGWP which was approved in December and I already applied for my visa renewal. The inland visa is still in progress however I need to travel back to my home country before the outcome of my visa is made. I was not sure if there is any complications if I leave Canada at this time.

If anyone know please help.

I believe you can leave Canada however to return to Canada, you will need a valid TRV. I am in the same boat
