Can i land while i am in transit flight from India to USA via Canada

I got my PR stamped, wow!.

For landing, i am wondering if its okay to do it while on transit. I have about 23 hours lay over during transit in Toronto during my return from India to USA.

I was thinking, why not use these 23hrs to complete landing formality. Please advise.

I beleive you can do it, you could get your passport stamped and complete all the PR card requirement. I would suggest though not to show the immigration officer that you are coming for a few hours.
