1. Yes you can. But if you have the COPR why haven't you cancelled the other application?

thank you PMM,

i have sent them an email asking to withdraw my other application but still not cancelled yet as per Ecas,so i was wondering if i can just go ahead with my landing but i am worried the immigration officer at the border will refuse me entry as a permanent residence since he/she will see my other application still in process or will it automatically be cancelled when i land?
PMM one more question if you don't mind please,in my COPR the original entry date is left blank so will date be an issue at all?

Can anyone help with this question? I am also in the same situation got CEC COPR and will land next week but I have a second PR application open which I email CPP-O to close two weeks ago but remains open. Thanks.

Hi canadavisa13,

Still have not found the answer to this question. I emailed CPP-O a couple of weeks ago to cancel second application but no response.

I will be landing on Sunday so I will let you know how it goes, I am not sure how much visibility the border will have on other applications. I will bring the email I submitted to CPP-O to show them proof I am attempting to cancel the other application.

I will let you know how landing goes, let me know if you land before me.

Yes you can land. What my spouse landed first under my app and then withdrawn her another app.

And another thing is she even get a refund her processing fees.

what was her status on ECAS when she withdrew her application?

App received. CIC told her that as long as her app did not yet went to in process she can refund the processing amount. She withdrawn last dec. and end of the month cic send the money.
