I am principal applicant and my spouse is not going to land at all. Can I land and stay in Canada without spouse?

If you are the Principal Applicant, yes you can.

There is no documentation to point you to. It's like trying to prove a negative.
There is documentation that says that a dependent cannot land without the Principal Applicant however....
