Can I get job in Canada after MS in USA?

Hello everyone,
I hope you all are doing well. Currently, I am pursuing my MS in Regulatory affairs of drugs, biologics and medical devices. I am not sure if everyone would be familiar with these terminologies. I am in the last semester of my program. I am thinking of getting a job in Canada rather than working here on OPT (optional practical training). But, I am not sure if I am eligible to work in Canada. I surfed through various sites and it says that I need to find an employer who is willing to hire me and thereafter, I can start my legal processes. I am not sure if I should get a job in Canada or continue my job hunt in USA.
Please help me if anyone has any idea regarding this.

Best and regards,
Drashti

In that case to get a work permit in Canada, you need both a job offer and an approved LMIA from the employer. It tends to be extremely difficult to find employers willing to go through the LMIA process. It requires the employer to advertise the job for at least a month first to prove that no Canadian could be found for the role. They must then submit the LMIA application along with a $1,000 fee - and then wait 2-4 months for the application to be approved (with no guarantee of approval).

I would definitely keep looking for a job in the US - quite possible you may find it impossible to find a job/employer in Canada. Having said that, you can certainly try.
