Can i ask for an extension of additional 30 days for the PPR deadline ?

Today I received my PPR , but due to a vacation to outside of Canada, I want to extend the PPR deadline to next month.

Any idea about that ?

Nope. You'll just have to fly there, get stamped and fly back out.

Actually, the PPR letter states to contact the VO if there are circumstances when the applicant cannot submit within the 30 days. So they do officially allow for it.

Yes, you can. Send a letter to your processing VO that you will be travelling and can submit when you get back. Send them your flight ticket and dates of your vacation.

Happily received the email from CIC, my request of extension of PPR deadline was granted.
It's so fast! I was kind of worried that it may take over 10 days.
