Are you not in Canada? Did you get landing for inland applicants Where you get COPR directly? If so you must send in a webform indicating you are not in Canada.

Can I do my landing and then submit SIN application online once I return to my current country of residence?

Hi all, I have done a soft landing in Canada recently and plan to return to my country on the 15th day of my arrival. Given that I don't plan to shift to Canada immediately, i will not be working here and will not need the health insurance. In such a case, can I apply for SIN once I move here permanently (in 2021). All service canada centers are closed now and to apply online you need a proof of address :(

Please let me know your thoughts
