Passport renewal before landing in Canada

Hi everyone! I’ve received my COPR and I’m currently in India, planning to travel to Canada soon.

My passport expires in March 2027. I’m considering renewing it in India before I travel, but the passport number will change.

Would renewing my passport before landing cause any issues with my COPR, landing in Canada, or getting my PR card?

Any advice or experience with this would be appreciated. Thanks!
