Hi seniors ,

I am applying under 4214 early childhood educator...
my total experience is 4 years in 4214..... from 2005 to 2009
checked with the school where i was working - staff there is very cooperative... they're ready to give reference letters and all....

but my graduation is not in that field...(its Bsc & WES says equivalent to 3 years degree in Canada)
right now am working as Project analyst (my husband moved me in his company)...

Can i apply under 4214 if my study is not related?
Does my current profile could be reason of rejecting my PR application?

please reply fast if possible - i am very confused right now.....

thanks in advance....

That's perfectly fine. Your education does not need to be in the same field as your nominated NOC unless it is in professional fields like physicians, nurses etc.

Thanks Namaste...
I got
WES
IELTS
PASSPORT
PCC
all the forms
reference letters from school where i was working should be done in couple of days...

do i need to obtain reference letters from my current org. as well of which i am not claiming any point?

CIC does ask you to provide experience letters for all jobs in the past 10 years, but if you are not claiming points for it then it is not mandatory. It is however, a good idea to include everything you have for the current job (offer letter, paystubs etc) to support that you are currently employed, and also write a cover letter explaining that you are not claiming points for this experience.

THank you so much namaste

sorry...one last question but very important question for me:-

i am working as projects analyst since 2010 (in MNC in Jaipur India) but applying under early childhood educator - will they reject my case in this case - as i am working in totally different profile ?

i moved because of salary - in school i was earning close to 6000/-, here my husband helped me and am earning close to 20000/- :P
so just worried if they'll reject my case??

Not a problem at all. As long as you have a minimum of one year continuous and paid work experience in your nominated NOC in the past 10 years, you are eligible to apply. The worse that can happen is you might be asked to explain why by the VO in an interview but that isn't common and hasn't happened to others in similar situation.

thanks namaste.... :)
