I am US citizen that has been accepted to a 2 year full-time degree program at a public post-secondary education institution.
My husband and kids (6 and 8 years old), all US citizens as well, will be coming with me and would like to stay for the duration of my studies.
We have enough liquid assets to support ourselves for the duration of stay.
Can they receive a multiple entry temporary resident visa for the duration of my study permit along with mine?
Can we apply for this at the US border along with my study permit?
Can I apply for my kids' study permit and temporary resident visas at the border as well?
We are healthy 36 year olds. What documents, if any do we need to bring?
How far in advance could we come to Vancouver before my studies begin? In other words, can I arrive 2 months prior to classes starting in order to settle the kids?
I am planning to sell my house so as not to carry a mortgage while I study, how else can I show I am planning to come back to the US?
