My Current status:
- I had a study permit that already expired on 30 June 2018
- I applied for visitor visa extension on 21 May 2018 which is 30 days before the expiry date of my permit
- Right now I'm currently in Canada under implied status while waiting for my visitor visa extension result
- I applied for another school in Canada and have been accepted, and now I need to apply for study permit for this Fall 2018 intake
My Questions is:
Can I apply for study permit while on implied status right now? or do I have to wait my result for my TRV extension?
Applying within Canada is preffered.
I just got on the phone with one of the IRCC agent and she suggested me to apply from Los Angeles VAC after I got my TRV extension result. However, it will take a huge amount of time for me to wait meanwhile my semester starts this fall.
