Can I apply for Student loan even if I have many in my bank acc?

Hi,

I am a PR and planning to study full time diploma program in one of the public colleges. I would like to know whether I can apply for student loan even though I have money in bank to pay to school fees? Or I have to have very little money in order to be eligible for student loan?

Anyone have any idea?
