Can i apply for Multiple Visitor Visa after using my Single Entry Visa already

Hello,

I had applied for the Single Entry Visa in the month of August 2013. The visa got approved and i visited my daughter for 1 month. The visa expiration date is Jan. 2014. After one month, i have come back to my country. Now i want to apply for Multiple Entry visa to visit my daughter again in future. My question however is: Can i apply for Multiple Entry Visa before 31st Jan.2014 since my last Single Entry Visa was consumed during my last visit provided the Visa expiration date for previous visa is 31st Jan. 2014?

I am confused on this matter. Logically the visa is expired as i have already used it on my previous entry. But Expiration date is set for future.
Appreciate if people can provide there suggestion or reference to their past if any, related to my situation.

You are right. Your visa being single entry is not valid anymore. Yes you can apply for multiple entry whenever you like...
If you plan to travel in 2014 ...you can apply a couple of months before your travel
