Can I apply for LMIA for PR, if I am not yet eligible to enter the pool?

As stated in the subject, I don't have 1 year work experience yet to qualify for EE, and my employer is willing to help me to apply for a LMIA, can we apply for a LMIA for PR, or since I am not eligible for EE, I can only apply for the regular LMIA for foreign workers? Thx

Your employer can apply for the LMIA for PR - however you should not create an EE profile until you have at least one full year of work experience.

my employer applied an lmia for pr via agency.they said the result will be out in two weeks,but as of now there's still no result.do you know how long it will take for the lmia for pr? im hoping that it will be approved since i've been working for my employer for two years as a line cook and he applied for a food service supervisor position for me. any information would help. thanks!
