Hello Everyone,

1. I have 2.5 yrs of study at a university in Toronto. I have not completed my degree.
2. I have been working for 2 yrs both Part time and full time
3. Both parents live in Toronto
4. I am currently working

Can I apply for CEC? Will the chances be good?

URGENT HELP.

You have to look at the requirements of CEC and see if you meet them. There are two options under CEC.

As a student, you must have at least a 2 year degree, then have graduated and done at least 1 year of full time work after you graduated.

As a worker, you must have 2 years of full time skilled work or the equivalent in part time.

Since you did not complete your studies, you will have to look into if you have 2 years of full time skilled work already (3900 hours and at least 24 months). If you do, you can apply.

so, to follow up with what Leon has said, it depends on what jobs you are / have been doing. Every occupation is assigned an NOC code. Based on these codes, some jobs are classified as unskilled, some are classified as skilled.

For CEC, the job experience has to be "skilled" (NOC O, A, or B)

You can search for the NOC code(s) for your jobs here -
