Quick Question ! I have a cousin who is an international student from Guyana. He got into U of T to do Engineering for Fall 2012, however he was issued his student visa 3 weeks late (due to raising funds for tuition) and as a result he had to defer his studies until Fall 2013.
He is still currently here in Canada but wants to know if he can still apply for a work permit even though he won't be a full time student until 2013. He wants to work so that he can occupy his time until he can start his program.
Any advice?????
